Hi. We're gonna give you an overview of using BigBueButton from a viewer or students perspective.

Bonjour. Voici un survol de BigBlueButton du point de vue d'un participant.

When you first log into BigBlueButton you'll notice on the upper left hand corner

À votre première connexion à BigBlueButton

there's a user's module that shows you a list of users that are in the current session

Vous remarquerez en haut à gauche une liste des utilisateurs présentement dans la session.

As people join they'll appear, there you can see the professors joined

Quand des personnes additionnelles se joignent à la session, vous les verrez apparaître.

and they have an icon indicating that they are the presenters

Ici, on voit que l'enseignant est maintenant en ligne. Cet icône indique qu'il est le présentateur.

BigBlueButton has the ability to chat back and forth

BigBlueButton offre une fonctionnalité de clavardage.

so you can type a message into the "All" tab and all participants in the session will see it. So here I'll type in a message "Hi professor"

Voici comment envoyer un message à tous

but let's say I want to send the professor a private chat. So you here you can open up a new tab and you can just type a message in and only the professor will see it and they can also respond back as well

Puis voici comment envoyer un message seulement à un autre utilisateur (clavardage privé) Et cet usager pourra répondre en privé.

You'll see the message here. This is invisible to anybody else. But if somebody does

post to the group forum you can just click on the alt-tab back and see the message.

Mais si quelqu'un écrit un message à tout le groupe, vous pouvez cliquer pour le voir

As you speak you should be able to see the microphone icon highlight

Quand vous parlez, vous verrez une indication du signal sonore (icône du microphone)

and you have the ability to mute and unmute yourself just by clicking the mute and unmute button near to the left-up corner

Vous avez la possibilité de couper et remettre le son de votre micro (en haut à gauche)

as the session proceeds more and more people may join the session

Alors que la session se poursuit, il peut y avoir de plus en plus de participants.

you may want to get the attention of the teacher or moderator you can do that by clicking raise hand that so bring your name for the top of the list

and if you raise your hand you may also have it lowered too by the teacher you can see here that a moment the raise hand will disappear

as the session starts to begin you'll see the presenter upload slides

there. They appear in the center area

and you can see whether the presenters are moving their mouse around or what they're pointing out in the slides

they've also the ability to advance the slides

and they've also the ability to annotate the slide as well

in some sections you may also want to share your webcam as well

Dans certaines sessions, on peut vouloir partager sa webcam

you can do so by clicking the share my camera icon near to left-up corner and you have the ability to choose which web camera

Vous pouvez le faire en cliquant l'icône de la caméra en haut à gauche Ensuite, vous aurez le choix de webcam à partager

normally flash will pick your default web cameras there's nothing you to change

Habituellement, le logiciel Flash fera ceci de façon automatique et vous n'avez rien de spécial à faire.

just click start sharing and your web camera will appear in the lower left hand corner

Juste à cliquer pour démarrer le partage et votre webcam va apparaître en bas à gauche.

as other share the webcam it also appears too in the video dock area

Quand les autres participants vont partager leur webcam, ça va apparaître en bas à gauche également.

so here I am kinda cheating I am just using the laptop next to me to share my webcam as well

Donc, ici je triche un peu car j'utilise un second laptop pour cette démonstration.

you can control the layout as well so if you were the one is around

Vous pouvez contrôler la mise en page également

you can go back to default layout

Donc, si vous changez la disposition des fenêtres, vous pouvez revenir au défaut

you can also change the layout

Vous pouvez aussi sélectionner une autre mise en page

here's one that gives more emphasis to the webcams

Par exemple, en voici une qui met l'emphase sur les webcams

and here's another layer that gives more emphasis to the presentation

Et celle-ci, sur la présentation (diapositives)

and again you can always go back to the default layout

Et comme toujours, vous pouvez revenir au défaut

finally in the upper right hand corner there a couple more controls

Finalement, en haut à droite, vous avez quelques autres fonctionnalités.

you can choose the default language that BigBlueButton is displaying

Le choix de la langue

you also can choose a shortcut keys and that window will display a whole bunch of shortcuts that you can use to quickly navigate around interface

Les raccourcis-clavier pour naviguer l'interface, sans utiliser la souris

there's a help button to get more help and there is a log out button to log out

Un bouton d'aide Un bouton pour se déconnecter.
