I'm going to assume you've already

But what I want to show you is how to put a shortcut for your scanner on your desktop.

So let's come up to Start menu and we'll go to Computer.

We'll then click on--

we'll expand the C drive which is here.

Now there's the shortcut that we need for your scanner.

So what we're going to do--

I'm just going to put this into half-screen like that.

I'm then going to right click on the folder.

All right, so that's how to make a shortcut

to get your scanner going.

So we make sure we've got our desktop printer scanner turned

on, and we just open up the lid.

And I got this brochure I picked up.

And what we have to do is to make sure we get this corner, this top left hand corner,

So now let's click on Scan.

You might be able to hear in the background.

The scanner just grinding its way through.

And here's your scan appearing, and it says

And if I need to resize it, I can just hover over like this.

I'm then going to roll the scroll wheel on my mouse
