This site is a public search engine which indexes YouTube metadata and enables searching of YouTube videos and channels using contents, subtitle content and other extended parameters.
Who are you and who pays for it?
I am a solo software developer and this is a hobby project. The project is financed from donations and out of my own pocket. Current server costs for this project are about 650$ per month. What happened to the imgur mirror?
I've been running the filmot imgur mirror (actually a caching proxy) on filmot.com and filmot.org since 2010 as a free service.
Starting from July 2, 2021, the domains filmot.com and filmot.org have been reporposed for a new project, on which I have been working part-time for the past 3 years, a public search engine on video metadata, encompasing YouTube.
Imgur made changes in recent years which affected the mirror, including redirects from previously directly linked imaged on domain i.imgur.com
Unfortunately, I was unable to keep up with these changes and the mirror on domain i.filmot.com no longer works

FAQ
Why sometimes subtitles don't match the audio or the language of the video?
The automatic subtitles are generated automatically by YouTube. Sometimes the language is not detected correctly. In other cases, the voice to text algorithm makes mistakes and mistakenly identifies words. (for instance, birthing and berthing). If you feel the subtitles significantly differ from the audio, please click the "Report" button for the appropriate video and submit a report. This data will then be used to automatically rank the video lower in the results or remove the video from the search results. In the case of manual subtitles, the subtitles might be in a different language from the audio or are intended to be different from the audio. For instance they might be used to provide additional commentary or interjections.
