with the easy part and to show you how to install all your add-ons in one click from a backup file.

So this is a fresh install of the latest Kodi 18.9 Leia, and I already

created a backup prior to this video. So the first thing you need to do is to

click the settings gear and head over to system settings and under add-ons,

The next step is to install the backup addon from the default Kodi add-ons repository.

This is done by clicking on add-ons in the main menu.

Once you are seeing the backup add-on click to open it.

Before you can either backup or restore any add-ons,

So what you do is click on open settings. Then on the left click on remote directory.

It should be listed here as a drive to browse. I saved my backup to my Kingston 128GB flash

drive, so I will open it and browse to my Kodi addons backup folder.

Please note, do not open the actual folder where the addons data is saved,

Once you have completed these steps successfully,

Simply open the backup addon again. This time click on restore.

So what about if you already have lots of addons installed and want to create a backup
