alright I'm gonna keep introduction
short for this episode you see the title
you know what's going on let's answer
some questions I found out today that
Jimmy John's is a sandwich called the
turkey Tom did you get your name from
this or did they name it after you I was
unaware that there was a sandwich called
the turkey Tom before I created my
YouTube channel but it seems that they
did create their special sandwich before
I created my channel so I guess I'm sort
of screwed on that one can't wait for
the memes where people Photoshop
variations of my avatar onto sub
sandwiches do you think the racist and
sexist remarks you make online will
affect your growth or the perception of
you and your channel as you continue to
grow do you ever plan on changing that
part of your online persona or is that
part of the turkey tom package also
congrats on 50k bud
hard to say really I mean as people we
are always changing and that's certainly
true of me just a year ago this is the
kind of shit I was making and I'm not
trying to jerk myself off here but I
think it's safe to say that what I'm
making now is a hell of a lot better
than that this is just the sort of sense
of humor that I consume and appreciate a
lot at the moment and as a result I sort
of you know I use into my videos I
wouldn't say that it's over the top or
anything I mean I've certainly made some
somewhat edgy jabs at ksi in my video
about that sort of drama but that's
really the only instance I can think of
where I was edgy in a racist sense I
will be toning down and making fun of
people for things that they can't
control that well are very
self-conscious about because it's just
not funny I end up actually feeling a
little bad about it in the end and I
think it will probably come back to bite
me in the ass eventually and it already
has but I think I'm just going to let my
humor flow naturally for the most part
really who's your favorite youtuber a
story time animation community I'm not
sure I like James's videos and I do
watch most of them but after talking to
him privately I find him slightly less
pleasant purely based on their videos
I'd say cipher Dan is pretty great and a
bit liam was really good but he removed
most of his videos which is pretty sad
but if you can find reuploads anymore I
would highly recommend watching them
they're pretty good what song would you
want to be played at your funeral
probably at my funeral I'd like to have
Hotel California played that's a that's
a pretty good song are you planning on
any drastic changes for your channel in
the future I don't know about drastic
changes I do plan to start focusing more
on reviews which is something that I've
been saying for months now but with the
monkey Jones sort of critique video I
took a step in that direction I think
eventually I'll sort of slowly phase
reviews into my content to the point
where I'll do around
like one commentary video and then one
review sort of style video but I'm not
quite sure yet I think there are a lot
of things to refine with my reviewing
style but before I can make them
consistently and before people will
really like them at all how do you feel
about YouTube as a career versus as a
hobby I mean personally I'd like to
always just see YouTube as a hobby even
though money is a motivator I'd like to
just see it as something I do on the
side which is certainly what it is at
the moment and I think that's how it's
always going to be as long as I'm making
videos I may still make a patreon in the
future I'm curious to see how that would
turn out but I don't really have any
plans for this to ever be my career it's
really just a stepping stone for me to
learn skills and techniques to break
into other industries or projects
there's nothing like that where do you
see your channel in a year I mean it's
hard to say ideally I'd like to have a
hundred thousand subscribers but YouTube
is so unpredictable that I don't really
know if I'll ever get there but things
have been going pretty well lately so I
don't see why I wouldn't be able to
reach that as for videos I think more
long-form content like I said similar to
reviews as well as drama related or
commentary videos that are more in-depth
and very detailed almost short
documentaries about situations in
internet happenings I think that could
be really interesting I've got some got
some planned going on right now is it
just me or are many members of the other
various hunting communities on YT and
capable of receiving criticism outside
of commentary and skeptic it seems as
though especially in your experience as
soon as you call them out then it's full
retard I mean there are people in every
community who aren't accepting you're
open to criticism I feel like especially
the younger you go in terms of Fame and
subscribers the less open people will be
I mean when you have millions and
millions of subscribers and you're
getting all this attention I think that
it's really easy to get a bit of an
inflated ego especially when you're
young as many learnt readers are and to
an extent when you're that big it's
better from a business perspective not
to accept criticism unless it's really
going to affect their business like if
ten people had criticized Logan Paul for
the whole forest hanging noose whatever
the fuck situation then he definitely
would not have responded but because
almost all of YouTube seemingly turns
against him on this one video of course
he apologized I think a lot of the time
those that consider YouTube and art are
more open to criticism than people who
see it as a business or just a job or a
means to fame or more success it's a
very interesting topic for sure that I
think would
to make another video about some time in
the future sort of an in-depth
explanation of why I personally feel
that criticism is important and the
various instances on YouTube when
creators have failed to really respond
properly really I guess to answer your
question is just on a case-by-case basis
between communities and creators
although there are certain communities
that exhibit traits of not being able to
take criticism very well more than
others for sure how can I be sure that
I'm buying the best quality turkey
available don't buy it yourself one how
do you feel about people talking about
you in their videos positive or negative
it's sort of surreal honestly there have
been some positive videos made about me
as well as a few negative ones and I was
waiting for a good time to address them
but now I think would be as good a time
as ever
mega common made an all right video
about me his points made sense and I
left my respond to the Tweety dressed in
the video in the comments and we had a
good talk afterwards and we're on pretty
good terms now I think the video has
some flaws for sure with it that I could
discuss and go more in depth on and I
don't think that the tweets he discussed
we're as relevant to the video overall I
mean obviously I'm not gonna try and
defend the the mean tweets that I made
and I don't feel like starting more
drama or anything like that because I
like making a comment I think he's an
intelligent guy I'm not gonna make like
a full-on response video to it or
anything like that
apart from that video manis and manga
artist - pretty small channels made good
videos criticizing me and well the manga
artist one felt sort of nitpicky and I
feel like he was sort of criticizing
most of my older videos that I already
don't like it was still pretty well done
in terms of scripting and I'd like to
see more videos like it from him - do
you like my fan art yes this person had
a three-part question so I'll answer
each of them individually like I did
with the last one one what are some of
your most unpopular opinions when it
comes to movies music video games
youtubers etc I don't know if I have
that many unpopular opinions on media I
mean I think Tobey Maguire is a bad
actor and everything that I have seen
him in but I still like the first two
spider-man movies a lot so I mean that's
one I see a lot of people leaving these
links to my videos in my comment section
when people say that they like my videos
they'll respond saying oh but in this
video he said that he likes ksi and
Logan Paul Rice gamma which is
definitely not true I don't I don't like
any of those creators or really even
give a shit about
I was just defending them from the
commentary community and sort of
pointing out that most commentators
probably don't give a shit about them
like I do and they just sort of want to
get they would they want to reap the
views and benefits off of them what are
some of your most favorite small
creators you can shout-out I would
consider a small creator to be someone
with under like 10,000 subscribers
probably so for people in that category
I would like to shout out just jargon
very disjointed Evi because they all
upload pretty consistently and I enjoy
their stuff a lot
oh and het silver is pretty good too

you enjoy not really now do you have
some advice for small youtubers under a
thousand subs for growing their channel
a lot of people ask me for advice on how
to grow a YouTube channel and how to go
about making content and at the end of
the day there's no real right answer
there's no key to success all I can say
to you is that you should just try
making content and to constantly improve
your videos until you get some success
and then take whatever works and
whatever people like and run with it I
doubt you'll get far if you just have a
passive interest and driving the topic
but chances are that at least one of the
people watching this video will end up
surpassing me and subscribers apart from
the other youtubers who always pester me
in the comments section so good luck go
