You can't connect the dots looking forward you can only connect them looking backwards.

Du kannst die Punkte nicht verbinden indem du nachvorn schaust, sondern nur wenn du zurück blickst.

So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future.

Also musst du vertrauen dass die Punkte in Zukunft ein Zusammenhang ergeben werden.

You have to trust in something: your gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever.

Du musst in etwas vertrauen: deinem Bauchgefühl,Schicksal,Leben,Karma oder sonstiges

Because believing that the dots will connect down the road will give you the confidence to follow your heart,

Denn zu glauben dass die Punkte am Ende einen Zusammenhang ergeben,gibt dir das Selbstbewusst sein deinem Herzen zu folgen,

even when it leads you off the well worn path.

Vorzutäuschen das wir grade zufrieden sind mit dem was wir haben.

Vorzutäuschen dass wir keine besonderen Ziele oder Wünsche hätten.

When really deep down inside, we do really want more.

Wenn wir jedoch tief in uns wirklich mehr wollen.

Finde heraus was du wirklich willst und jage es als würde dein Leben davon abhängen !

and at the same time I was praying that I wouldn’t get fired.

I was praying that I wasn’t laid off. I was miserable, nobody was holding a gun to my head,

Ich betete dass ich nicht entlassen werde.Ich war unglücklich,niemand hielt mir eine Waffen an den Kopf,

but I showed up every day and I use the flimsy excuse:

well, I gotta pay the bills, I’ve got a car payment I have to pay,

nun,ich muss die Rechnungen zahlen,ich muss meine Raten fürs Auto zahlen,

I have a family, I have children, I have a car note and I have a mortgage note I have to pay.

Ich habe eine Familie,ich habe Kinder,ich habe ein Auto und eine Hypothek die ich zahlen muss.

I’ve got to survive…

Ich muss überleben...

I was showing up for a paycheck

Ich tauchte nur für meinen Lohn auf

and she was sitting at the table and shes drinking some coffee

and all of a sudden she just looked up and she said I refuse to die an unlived life

Und plötzlich blickte sie hinauf und sagte : Ich verweigere ein ungelebtes Leben zu haben.

And she decided that she was going to live

Und sie entschied sich zu Leben

The real challenge of growth mentally, emotionally and spiritually

Die wahre Herausforderung des Reifens geistig und seelisch

comes when you get knocked down

taucht auf,wenn du untergekriegt wirst

But During those down moments that's where the growth takes place

aber während dieser Phasen findet das Reifen statt

that's where the work is

See Anybody can feel good when they have their health, their bills are paid,

they have happy relationships. The children are acting normal.

sie glückliche Beziehungen führen und ihre Kinder sich normal verhalten.

Anybody can be positive then.

Jeder wäre dann glücklich.

Anybody can have a larger vision then. Anybody can have faith under those kind of circumstances.

Jeder hätte dann Größeres im Anblick.Jeder hätte Glauben zu solchen Bedingungen.

Hab ich recht ?
